Each
year there are over 100,000 new books written. That’s a LOT of writers
seeking to be published. Acquisition editors at publishers receive
hundreds, and sometimes thousands of these manuscripts every day. The
vast majority of these go directly into the recycling bin without ever
being looked at. There’s a simple reason for this: The decision makers
at the publishing firms already have enough pre-screened manuscripts to
look at, provided to them by literary agents. The publishers know these
agents have already filtered out the books that likely won’t be
profitable. Bottom line is this; if you really want to be taken
seriously – if you truly desire to see your book published, and
ultimately successful; then you need to get a good agent!
Here
at Star Literary Agency we represent only those manuscripts which we
feel are right for submission to our contacts at well-known
publishers. They count on us to send them pre-screened
manuscripts, polished proposals, and to have both ready for
their
review.
Star
Literary Agency does not charge reading fees. If your manuscript needs
editing, we will work with you (for free) to make that happen. Our goal
is simple: Get your book published! We work hard at making our authors

book proposal – professionally written and polished, ready for
presentation to publishers. Worth $3,500 - $5,000; provided at no cost
to the author
*Ethical
representation to both major and mid-sized publishers
*Monthly
letter showing exactly what work we did on your behalf, and the results
of those efforts |

manuscripts in the following genres:

Biography, Business and Investing, Computers and Internet, Family and
Parenting, Fantasy, General, Health, Historical, Humor, Mystery,
Mythology, Political, Romance, Reference and How-to, Sci-Fi, Spiritual,
Sports, Supernatural, Thriller, Travel, Western, Young Adult.
New authors are
encouraged. If

Standard
commission is only 10% for the first book, then 5% commission
thereafter for each subsequent book. (We love our authors who write
